Here quantum matter describes bulk matter and its non-classical properties originating from correlated electrons or protected topolocical states. This is a wide field of research and the University of Würzburg has many courses to specialize:

Trapping light and electrons in nanostructured materials or material interfaces leads to novel physical effects. The following courses prepare to enter research in this fascinating field:

Quantum Matter is build atom layer by atom layer and nano structures are carved from a basic material with nanometer precision. How to do so is taught in the following courses:
