Graduation Ceremony
Graduation ceremony of the faculty with presentation of the Röntgen study prizes and Science Awards
Every year in June/July, the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy holds its annual graduation ceremony, where students who successfully completed their studies or doctorates in the past year are honored in a festive setting.
The best graduates of the year are honored with the Röntgen Study Prize, and the best doctoral candidates of the past academic year are honored with the Röntgen Science Prize of the Physics Institute, which follows in the tradition of Würzburg alumnus Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen and bears his name.
