I investigate strongly correlated quantum systems using high-performance numerical many-body methods, with a focus on renormalization group approaches and neural quantum states. My main interest lies in moiré materials, which provide a highly tunable platform for realizing a wide range of correlated and often topological phases, including superconducting and fractional states.

I employ functional renormalization group (fRG) methods to derive low-energy models for different material platforms, with an emphasis on incorporating full dynamical resolution in multi-band and retarded systems. To solve these models and compute observables, I use neural quantum states within a variational Monte Carlo framework. This approach leverages the expressive power of neural networks to approximate ground states of generic many-body systems at system sizes well beyond those accessible to conventional methods such as exact diagonalization.
