The Chair for Theoretical Particle Physics (Theoretical Physics 2) at the University of Würzburg is looking for outstanding graduate students with a passion for the phenomenology of elementary particles.
Research areas of particular interest include:
- Higgs physics
- LHC phenomenology of physics beyond the Standard Model
- Neutrino physics
- Model building
- Connections to cosmology: dark matter and baryogenesis
The successful candidate should have proven skills in the methods of modern theoretical particle physics, such as:
- Feynman diagrammatic techniques
- Monte Carlo Simulations
- Group theory
