The Institute for Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Würzburg invites applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics to be filled in the fall of 2020. The initial appointment will be for two years with a possibility of an extension. The applicants should have experience in collider physics and/or higher-order perturbative calculations.
The theoretical particle physics group currently consists of 7 faculty members and postdocs and about 7 PhD and master students. The research focus is on particle phenomenology, in particular LHC physics.
The group is partially funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
