From 27 to 29 September, the cooperation partners of the PhotonQ project came together at Würzburg University’s Campus Nord and held a productive and successful project meeting. Looking back at the last two project years, they took stock of the current progress and identified the future challenges.

On 27 July 2023, the closing ceremony of the international Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop 2023 (iNOW 2023) – hosted by the Chair of Applied Physics in Würzburg – was held at the Bürgerspital Weinstuben. On this evening, poster prizes were awarded to the student poster presentations of outstanding quality. The chair holder of the Chair for Applied Physics, Sven Höfling, who co-chaired the workshop with Alfred Forchel congratulated the winners and looked back on the past two conference weeks.

The iNOW (July 16-27, 2023) is in full swing. The conference brings together distinguished researchers from academia and industry who are involved in photonic and optoelectronic materials, devices, and applications. Researchers from around the world share cutting-edge insights and foster new and old collaborations.
