Cardiovascular imaging

Due to the high prevalence of heart diseases research committed to better understanding and evaluate the function and diseases of the heart is crucial. Our group is working on improving the theoretical underpinnings and establishing robust protocols for the examination of several functional parameters in both humans and preclinical settings.

  • Quantification of blood flow and tissue motion
  • Parameter mapping (T1 / T2* / Perfusion)
  • Morphological and functional vessel wall characterization
