Our PhD student David Laibacher was recognized at the GaAs Quantum Dot Workshop 2026 in Dornbirn, where he received the award for being the most active participant in the scientific discussions throughout the workshop. His thoughtful and persistent questions stimulated lively exchanges, enriched the sessions, and impressed the organizing committee.

In recognition of his engagement, David received a cash prize and a textbook on nanofabrication—an excellent match for his research in semiconductor quantum photonics.
