Application Periods & Deadlines
The general deadlines for the applications are:
- Starting winter semester (October): March 15th of each year for the following winter semester. Important hint: the application website is open from approx. January, 25th until March 15th.
- Starting summer semester (April): October 31st of the previous year for the following summer semester. Important hint: the application website is open from approx. August, 25th until October 31st.
Please note, that applications can only be submitted via the WueStudy application system approximately one month before the above-mentioned deadlines.
Important Hints
You have to prove your academic eligibility for admission to the program by providing a GRE® Subject Test in Physics with a minimum score of 600 points.
You do NOT need to provide a preliminary review documentation (VPD) from uni-assist to apply for the master programs in “Physics International" and “Quantum Engineering”.
Please only apply once your final grade has been determined and you can submit at least a provisional certificate, or you can already submit your final documents.
