Current design of the SFB UHV suitcase

As part of the SFB 1170 the project Z02 includes the design, construction, testing and operation of two portable ultrahigh vacuum suitcases for in situ sample transfer between the various systems for thin film epitaxy and surface science experiments of the SFB. The design of these suitcases is currently almost completed.

In this talk the current design of the suitcase will be presented. Furthermore the main features and all important specifications of the systems will be illustrated as far as they are designed right now.
