Title: The quest for Dark Matter

In this seminar we will review the evidence and properties for a Dark Matter candidate and discuss a few different Dark Matter production mechanisms and simple models realising them. We will present their detection opportunities both at DM experiments and at colliders, including the case of multicomponent models.
