Field day of our research group

On July 29, we went on an excursion in the environs of Würzburg. Our hiking tour began at the main station. From there, we hiked through the vineyards, enjoying fantastic views of the Main River, towards Veitshöchheim. There, we strolled through the court garden along the palace, had a pleasant lunch, and played some soccer and frisbee.

For a relaxing return to Würzburg, we chose to take a ferry, which allowed us to admire our hiking route through the steep vineyards from the boat. This enjoyable field day concluded with a round of delicious ice cream, during which some group members settled their debts from the betting game we had played during the European football championship.
