Award Ceremony at the Foundation Feast

On May 12th, the university's annual foundation anniversary took place at the Neubaukirche. The event included the speech of the university president Prof. Pauli, and saw the presentation of numerous awards. A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of the Equal Opportunities Task Force of the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, who was awarded the biannual Equal Opportunity Prize of the University. The award certificate was officially handed over to Adriana and four other ladies strongly committed to the Task Force efforts:  Kathi Klug, Helena Hollstein, Romana Ganser and Alina Markova (pictured from left to right).

The award includes a prize of €3,000, which will be used for future initiatives in collaboration with the Fachschaft, aimed at attracting more young women to study physics and ensuring they feel welcome at the faculty and are supported in their future careers.
