Adriana’s sabbatical in Paris

Starting in March, Adriana will spend the next few months in Paris at Sorbonne University as part of her sabbatical (Forschungsfreisemester). She is visiting the research group of Prof. Paul Indelicato, located on the Jussieu Campus. Prof. Indelicato is an expert in quantum electrodynamics of highly charged and exotic ions. In recognition of his excellent research and cross-national collaborations with scientists in Germany, he was just awarded the Gentner-Kastler Prize 2026  by the DPG and the Société Française de Physique. Now it's time for a German visit to Paris, and Adriana will enjoy going back to her roots at the borderline between atomic and nuclear physics.
