On 14 November, the Faculty of Physics offers quantum research to touch, participate in and marvel at. From family lectures to science slams: guests can discover how exciting quantum physics is until after midnight.

The Science Slam is celebrating its 10th birthday. There will be two events to mark the anniversary: a classic slam on Friday, 7 November. Plus a best-of from ten years on Saturday, 8 November.

The University of Würzburg has proven its strong global standing: in the newly released Times Higher Education Ranking, JMU ranks 179th worldwide. The university performed particularly well in knowledge transfer and research quality.

This year's Retreat took place in the Rhön Mountains from September 16 to 18.

The new edition of the CEWS ranking reflects the successful gender equality work at the University of Würzburg. JMU has now achieved top ratings in a number of areas.

In just a few months, JMU will have to submit its application for the title of University of Excellence. The University Board has now provided an update on the current status.
