Top mass effects in Higgs boson production
Higgs bosons at the LHC are dominantly produced in gluon fusion via virtual top quark loops. For the on-shell production of a single Higgs boson, the full result is approximated very well by an expansion around an infinite top quark mass. However, this is no longer the case if the Higgs boson is produced far off-shell or in association with other hard particles. I discuss methods to incorporate top mass effects also in such scenarios.
