Organization

The Institute for Topological Insulators is headed by Laurens W. Molenkamp and is based on the collaboration of the four sections Molecular Beam Epitaxy, Lithography and Processing, Materials Analysis, and Device Structures.

Six research groups cover the research areas (1) molecular beam growth of TIs, (2) optical and electron-beam lithographic structuring and nanofabrication, (3) analysis of crystallographic properties and electric transport, and (4) device structure development.
