Welcome to Würzburg! nanoplus Nanosystems and Technologies GmbH and TEP host the 6th edition of the MIRSENS workshop
09.09.2025We welcome more than 50 participants for the 6th edition of the International workshop on opportunities and challenges in mid-infrared laser-based gas sensing (MIRSENS). The workshop takes place at the Rebstock Hotel in the city center of Würzburg between the 9th and 11th September 2025.
Mirsens aims at providing an overview of the state of the art of the field of optical gas sensing, with a special focus on the mid-infrared spectral range. The workshop promotes interaction between academic and industrial research institutions and addresses scientific and technological challenges associated with both, the latest developments and future prospects. Our chair contributes to the workshop by giving two presentations on resonant cavity enhanced photodetectors for the mid-infrared spectral wavelength region. Mirsens is organized by nanoplus Nanosystems and Technologies, Department of Experimental Physics, WUST and Technische Physik, University of Würzburg
