A week with Xiangjin Kong's group

This week our group is honored to host Xiangjin Kong from Fudan university in Shanghai, a former PhD student and postdoc of Adriana. He is joined by four of his PhD students, who are working on topics such as vortex beams and thin-film x-ray cavities. We had fruitful discussions about our ongoing projects and especially enjoyed the talk given by Zinan Cui about propagation effects in interaction between vortex beams and matter.

Beyond the scientific exchange, there is also time for funny coffee breaks, table football games and pleasant lunches. We are happy to welcome you and look forward to seeing you again soon!
