Quantum optics conference in Erlangen

From the 20^th to 24^th July, Julien had the pleasure of attending the 30th Central European Workshop on Quantum Optics (CEWQO30) in Erlangen. The conference is an international forum where researchers present the latest advances in quantum optics and quantum information.

Julien presented a poster entitled "X-Ray Waveguides: From Quantum Optics to Non-Hermitian Topology" and had many discussions with experts from different areas of optics. In particular, it was nice to meet Mihai Macovei, professor at Moldova State University, again.

In addition to the scientific program, the conference featured an excellent conference dinner that provided a great opportunity for networking. A highlight was the entertaining dinner talk by Joachim von Zanthier on science in Franconia
