We consider a SU(Nc) non-abelian gauge theory with Nf fermions in the fundamental representation - as Nf varies the theory can display IR conformal windows and walking couplings - we describe this exotic gauge dynamics with the holographic Dynamic AdS/QCD model. In particular we study aspects of the dynamics in and near the conformal window of the gauge theory as described by the two loop running of the gauge theory. If the number of flavors is such that the IR fixed point lies with the anomalous dimension of the quark bilinear above one, then chiral symmetry breaking occurs. Here, we display a spiral in the quark mass/condensate plane describing a sequence of unstable excited states of the vacuum. In addition Nambu–Jona-Lasinio (NJL) four quark interactions can be included using Witten’s multitrace prescription and their effect on the condensation will be described. Interestingly, one realizes a light Higgs-like state in ideal walking models where a combination of slowly running gauge dynamics and an NJL term trigger chiral symmetry breaking.  We discuss its effect on the Technicolor models and searches at the LHC.
