Debian Martin-Éric Racine maintains a Debian package of CUPS-PDF which is part of the official distribution.

Fedora Remi Collet maintains RPM packages for Fedora, RHEL, and CentOS which are available from the official Fedora and EPEL repositories.

MacOS On codepoetry a package for Mac OS X is available. Futhermore, MacPorts offers a portfile.

Slackware Andreas Liebe maintains a port of CUPS-PDF for Slackware on his page. There is also a link to current binary packages.

FreeBSD Simon Olofsson maintains a port of the current CUPS-PDF for FreeBSD on FreshPorts.

OpenBSD CUPS-PDF is also available in the packages and ports collection of OpenBSD.

T2 A package of CUPS-PDF for the T2 System Development Environment can be found here.

Linux Herbert U. Hübner provides on his website RPM packages of CUPS-PDF for additional distributions.


Rob Dailey contributed an updated spec-file for generating RPMs of CUPS-PDF. The original spec-file was written and maintained by Dirk Schwier and Christian Ellsworth.
The RPM version is currently 2.4.5.

The RPM version will automatically add a printer Cups-PDF to your system via "lpadmin -p Cups-PDF -v cups-pdf:/ -m PostscriptColor.ppd -E".
