Short CV

I have been born on the 10th of August 1967 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs, Niederösterreich, Austria. I have grown up in Feldkirch, Austria, where I visited the high school. Afterwards I have studied physics in Graz and Vienna. Since 2004 I am married to Sabine Timpf and I am father of two children: Cornelia and Florian .

Main stations of my career

Study of physics at the Technical University of Graz and at the University of Vienna
Diploma at the University of Vienna, 1993, title: Zerfälle des Gluinos und der Squarks
PhD at the University of Vienna, 1998, title: Phenomenology of stops, sbottoms, staus and tau-sneutrino
Habilitation at the University of Zürich, 2004, title: Complex phases and lepton number violation in supersymmetric theories
I have been working at the University of Vienna, DESY, University of Zürich and IFIC Valencia
Currently I am W2-professor at the University of Würzburg and since August 2008 spokes-person of the DFG research training group GRK 1147 Graduiertenkolleg "Theoretische Astrophysik und Teilchenphysik".
