Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics

Our research covers a wide range of open questions in elementary particle  physics:

  • Breaking of the electroweak symmetry
  • Precision calculations for experiments at LHC, ILC and other colliders
  • Supersymmetry
  • Nature of the dark matter, that contributes five times as much mass to the universe than the matter known to us
  • possible hidden additional space dimensions, that might become accessible at short distances and high energies
  • possible violation of lepton flavor conservation, that might play a role in the disappearance of anti matter after the big bang
  • Neutrino physics
